At Borri we provide full installation for UPS and Diesel Generators to the highest standard, regardless of the size of your project. All work is performed by fully qualified engineers from the start of the installation process right through to commissioning.
Borri is pleased to provide site surveys, free of charge. This ensures that your company only purchases exactly what is required and your existing electrical installation meets your requirements.
If you require your UPS or Genset to be tested with a load but do not want to risk your site, Borri can offer loadbank hire for the duration of the test.We will deliver and install the loadbank with minimal disruption and once you have finished testing we will arrange collection at a convenient time. Borri can also provide loadbank testing as part of a maintenance agreement. This service allows the client to reaffirm that their backup system is meeting the original instalment specification.
Electrical faults can put your critical load at risk and may result in massive costs in downtime. They are also notoriously difficult to trace and repair. Regular testing of your electrical system will enable potential threats to be rectified before they cause any damage. If isolation of the circuits can be planned in advance, we can carry out inspection and testing to BS7671.Alternatively, we can survey your electrics using thermal imaging. This requires no contact with the components, but can instantly detect problems with switchgear, overloaded circuits and bad electrical connections.
Once a UPS or generator has been electrically installed, it should always be set-up and commissioned by an authorised and trained engineer. As a leading service provider, Borri offers commissioning for most brands of UPS & generators.
The commissioning visit includes a survey of the installation environment, a check of the AC and DC wiring, and calibration of the equipment with the onsite voltages. The manufacturer’s start up procedure is carried out by fully testing all functions. The measurements are checked against those completed during factory testing and a full report provided.
