The efficiency rating plays a large part in the operating costs of the UPS, along with the carbon footprint of your organisation and also the reliability of the UPS and its parts. An Eco UPS with IGBT technology uses the entire sine wave which allows the UPS to manage the input more effectively. Compared to six and twelve pulse it is a much more advanced technology.
